I am a Nut
"I am a Nut" is a children's rhyming picture book about a nut with a personality. At the beginning of the story, the nut focuses primarily on its own perceived negative traits. With the little help from a friend, the nut is then reminded of its positive traits and the story ends with self-acceptance. This book teaches the young reader about positive self-esteem and self-confidence. The nut's personality traits appear to be very similar to toddlers and young children, which would make it ideal for these age groups.
